Well we’ve started putting a few things for sale on craigslist including a lamp (already sold!), surfboard<\/a>, bathroom cabinet<\/a> and the TV<\/a>. A couple more things including my mountain bike and Courtney’s Nissan Maxima will be added soon after we get them cleaned up and pictures taken.<\/p>\n

We’ve also started packing things up to move everything we don’t need before the wedding to Lodi next weekend. We’ve been clearing off bookshelves, emptying dressers and filling boxes.<\/p>\n

The other day we also did a dry run, packing our backpacks for our trip. We stuffed them to the gills with clothes and cooking equipment and camping gear. We were satisfied to be able to get everything we think we’ll need in and on the packs. Hopefully our packing list won’t increase too much. I think the road trip across country will be a good test of what is feasible to take as well as what will be used and what can be left out going forward.<\/p>\n
