{"id":2447,"date":"2012-11-22T21:22:26","date_gmt":"2012-11-23T04:22:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thejohnsonsjournal.com\/?p=2447"},"modified":"2012-11-21T21:26:57","modified_gmt":"2012-11-22T04:26:57","slug":"motorbikes-motorbikes-and-more-motorbikes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thejohnsonsjournal.com\/?p=2447","title":{"rendered":"Motorbikes, motorbikes, and more motorbikes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our next stop was Vietnam and we began in the capital city of Hanoi. \u00c2\u00a0We stayed where most\u00c2\u00a0travelers\u00c2\u00a0do, in the Old Centre, where the street are narrow and motorbikes rule the pavement. \u00c2\u00a0Our first lesson in Vietnam was how to cross the street.<\/p>\n<p>Step 1) Look like you know what you are doing, maybe raise a hand in the air or a small wave to indicate that you are now going to cross the street.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2) Start walking at an even pace.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3) Do not stop, slow down, or speed up (and the motorbikes will just go around you).
