{"id":439,"date":"2009-10-22T21:59:45","date_gmt":"2009-10-23T04:59:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thejohnsonsjournal.com\/?p=439"},"modified":"2009-10-22T21:59:45","modified_gmt":"2009-10-23T04:59:45","slug":"montana-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thejohnsonsjournal.com\/?p=439","title":{"rendered":"Montana again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We decided after what felt like a considerably warmer yet drizzly night of camping in Mammoth that the plan we had of leaving the park via the Northeast exit and seeing a few more sights and wildlife along the way was not a viable option. We failed to look at the map earlier to read that just beyond that entrance, the highway closes due to winter weather in Mid-October. Luckily we noticed that before driving two hours to find that out the hard way.<\/p>\n<p>As an alternative we exited through the North entrance in Gardiner, MT. We were lucky enough to see some Big Horned Sheep on our way out of the park.
