With all of the bad weather, thanks to topical storm Ida, we decided not to head to the outer banks of North Carolina, which was hit pretty hard by the storm.\u00c2\u00a0 Instead, we headed to Raleigh to find out our friends, Pam and Aaron also in town.\u00c2\u00a0 They invited us to the NC State football game and tailgate with the family.\u00c2\u00a0 There was lots of great food, football, and good company.\u00c2\u00a0 To bad NC State didn’t win.<\/p>\n

Since the sun was finally shining when we left Raleigh, we headed to Carolina Beach to relax and do some camping.\u00c2\u00a0 We stayed at Carolina Beach State Park, one of the only places in the world that the Venus Fly Trap lives in its native habitat.<\/p>\n
