And got to take a tour of his birthplace and house he grew up in.<\/p>\n

The museum also had a nice exhibit about JFK and his brother Bobby who both also struggled for civil rights and met untimely deaths.<\/p>\n
Next we decided to lighten things up and check out the Coca-Cola Museum.<\/p>\n

Where among other things you can sample many of the company’s soft drinks from around the world.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/a>Whoa, thats a lot of weird drinks<\/p><\/div>\n
In total I think there were about 60 to try, and yup, we did just that.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Orange Fizzy Drink?<\/p><\/div>\n
After trying drinks from around the world that ranged from “interesting” to “who would drink that?”, we were happy to finish it off with a sample of the real thing.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/a>Good Ol' Coca-Cola with our hostel-mate Marcel<\/p><\/div>\n
We got to hang out with one of the other guys who was staying in our hostel, Marcel. He is from the Netherlands and was in Atlanta running in the marathon on Thanksgiving day. This was his 51st marathon, that’s pretty impressive. He was showing off his new “bling” when we were out, which got him a few good conversations with other runners and others on the street.<\/p>\n

After 60 shots of soda, we were pretty sick of it and so we grabbed our free bottle of Coke (just what we wanted at that point) and went to get some food to settle our stomachs.<\/p>\n
