We got into Santa Fe late in the evening checked into our hostel.\u00c2\u00a0 In the morning we had a look around the downtown.\u00c2\u00a0 The pueblo-style architecture was everywhere.\u00c2\u00a0 We went to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum and learned a little bit about her life and art. \u00c2\u00a0 For lunch we tried some New Mexican cuisine including green chili stew and sopapillas.\u00c2\u00a0 Yumm!\u00c2\u00a0 Its nice to be back in the west where the Mexican food is in good supply.<\/p>\n

The next day we went into Arizona and the Navajo Nation.\u00c2\u00a0 It was about a two hour drive to Canyon de Chelly in northern Arizona, but it was well worth the trip.\u00c2\u00a0 The canyon was absolutely amazing.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We did a short hike to the base of the canyon to see the White House, a Pueblo ruin in the canyon.<\/p>\n
