Off to the States

Posted: August 3rd, 2010 by Courtney

Its been seven months since we left the States on January 3rd.  We decided to take a trip back home to visit family and friends, attend my cousin, Scott’s wedding in Seattle, and enjoy the west coast summer.

Our 24-hour door to door trip was made a little more exciting when we found out that Richard Branson would be on our V Australia flight from Sydney to LA.

After resting up after our long trip, we were able to visit with Scott’s Grandmom, Uncle Jim, Aunt Robin, and cousin, Nicole.  They took us out to their favorite Chinese restaurant for dinner.

The next day was Scott and Michelle’s wedding.  They got married overlooking the mountains in beautiful Snoqualime, WA.  It was great to see so many of my family from California made the trip to Washington.

We also were about to check out some of the Seattle sights while we were there.  We visited Pike Place Market, got coffee at Tully’s (sorry Starbuck’s), and went shopping in the Queen Anne district.  We also made sure we visited Paseo’s for their Cuban pork sandwich, voted one of the best sandwiches in America by Esquire.  And boy were they good!

Of course we had to go to Pike Place Market
