Last weekend when we got home from our day at the races, I checked my email and was surprised to find one from my old team manager Craig. He said that he and his girlfriend were passing through Melbourne after a holiday along the central east coast of Australia and would be spending Sunday with some friends and relatives.

He asked if we’d be up for getting together for lunch since he was in the neighborhood, so…

It was good catching up and finding out how things have been back at work in the states, and also some interesting insights into how Australia has changed as a holiday location over the past couple decades. This was his third trip.
