You’re my boy Blue!

This weekend was spent hauling nearly our entire apartment up to Courtney’s parents house in Lodi. We moved what furniture and clothing that we’d like to keep after our trip to her sister Amanda’s old room for safe keeping. The ride up there was long and nearly painful as we, despite numerous warnings, ended up packing too much weight towards the back of the trailer. This provided entertainment in the form of severe trailer swerve when going more than 65 down even the slightest incline.
I was pleasantly surprised at the ease at which my trusty Jeep “Ol’ Blue” made it up the grapevine and up the 5 fwy for 350 miles. This has given me even more confidence in this being our vehicle of choice for our cross country road trip. Uhaul refers to it as a “Downsized Cherokee 2dr 4WD” but there’s nothing downsized about this little blue monster’s ability to climb a hill, haul a trailer, ford a river, or do donuts in a ice covered ski resort parking lot.
We’ll be showing this guy off all across the US over the coming months, many pics to come I’m sure!

Too bad Trevino Jr. isn’t in the picture anymore. He would have loved to traverse the U.S…

Absolutely, we should all pour one out for the homie, T. J. That was a great first truck and we all miss him dearly. The camper shell was classy and functional! And the Z shaped pin striping on the sides made it look fast even if the speedometer said otherwise.
