Home Away From Home

This weekend we moved into our new apartment in the CBD. Scott starts work at an IT consulting firm on Tuesday, so we decided we would rent a fully furnished apartment for the next six months.  It’s nice and close to Chinatown and all main spots in Melbourne, so we are really excited to get settled in.
After moving in we decided to head over the the National Gallery of Victoria to check out an exhibit by the Australia sculpture artist, Ron Mueck. His works were remarkably life like and kinda creepy even.
After the exhibit we headed to the Tea Room for some afternoon tea, while it rained and hailed outside. When we finally left because they were closing down the museum after the roof was leaking, all of the public transportation seemed to be shut down because of similar problems. Luckily we are only a short walk from home.
